Description: This JOTA opinion article presents the main findings of the GPEIA research project on gender interactions in USP Law School classrooms and argues that legal education is shaped by a hidden curriculum that reproduces gender inequalities. Co-authored with fellow researchers, the piece invites legal educators to reflect on how classroom dynamics, teaching practices, and institutional culture affect students’ participation and learning, and calls for more inclusive and equitable approaches to legal education.
